COM 415/Lecture/1 - Conflict in the Workplace
The course examines the key concepts in organizational conflict, from a communication perspective. The course will provide opportunities for gaining insights into the complexities of conflict in work life. Topics include: diagnostic and intervention techniques for changing elements in a conflict; the role of power; language; goals; culture and gender in creating, sustaining and managing conflict in professional settings.
